What is your ideal composter size?

for research I want to know what size the ideal composter should be in terms of size and the compost capacity.

We have about four 220l dalek shaped composters which seem to do a reasonable job once they have acquired a population of small red worms which help to break down the mix of wet and dry material. We also made a square pallet construction which produced some semi composted rich material to dig in.
