These plants grew fast & furious in our late PNW summer when all else was slow to grow, and I have no idea what it is. Help?

Looks very much like a raddish "Raphanus sativus" might be worth pulling one up. :unsure:

Hmmm. The plant is about 5 feet tall with a million flowers that are turning into peapod-like fruits (shown). It's also about 3 feet wide. It's a garden bully of a plant. Doesn't appear radish-like to me...

Not the little round red ones, but my missus was from Japan and they have a very different radish, Have a look at rat tail radish, big plant, large white root, and pea like seeds similar to those.

Yeah the pods do look like the rat tail one, very similar anyway
