I have no idea I have just started getting into gardening really. I know it got planted 3 years ago and it has tripled in size since then..I will do some research and see how I can improve the soil..

Verdun told me that I could add coffee grind to the top of the compost. I got it free from the cafe up the road. Ask and you might get it free if you live near one. Or add John Innes ericaceous compost and water with rain water. Hope it helps. Where are you based if you don't mind my asking.. Well, I'm nosy! Hehe!
