Just started growing on its own. Have not planted any vine crops here for years. Any help please.

I think it is in jpeg as others have been able to open. Not good at this computer stuff, could send you pic in e-mail.

I am sure it is a fall/winter squash. Its just that going by the shape of the fruit it is impossible to tell which variety. One needs to see the color it will end up being to tell for sure

Looks suspiciously like a pumpkin. Did someone smash Halloween pumpkins in your neighborhood last year?
