What is this plant, please?

I found this growing in my garden - it looks too interesting to be a weed but we didn't plant it! Any ideas what it is?

Now I would say that was an Ash seedling. If so, dig it out asap.

Well if it is Ash then it grows very quickly to a huge tree. They are renowned for shedding branches and producing millions of seedlings when mature. Oh and the roots spread a long way sideways and very little will grow under them. Keep it if you have space.
