what is this on the soil of my cordyline plant? Help!!!

there's some strange greenish ball on the soil of my cordyline and im not too sure what it is and if it affects the cordyline. Please help! Thank you!

Crush one of them and see what is inside of it. Offhand I'd say it is fungal spores manifesting itself.
