What is the problem with these laurel leaves and what do do about it?

I would be grateful if you could let me know what is the problem with these leaves of the laurel and what do do about it? Please see the attached photo. You can see the holes on the leaves. Thanking you.

Looks like beetles to me. Spray right before dark with Neem Oil or Spinosad and in 4 days spray again.

Laurels get something known as "shot hole disease", which is made worse by water on the leaves. The plant may be in a location where there isn't enough air circulation that will allow the leaves to dry quickly. Its a bacterial condition that can be chemically treated. I don't know what is used for it - try your local garden center, they will probably have something to treat it with.
