What is deciduous type fruit trees?

I've heard of annual and perennial plants but do fruit trees fall into these categories also? I thought all fruit trees are perennial since they don't die within a year.

Also what is deciduous type fruit trees?

I don't know of any annual fruit trees although they might possibly exist in rain forests or maybe in the orient. Deciduous trees are trees that shed their leaves every year in the fall.
