What Do the Professional Skeptics Say Now?

For decades people have been trying to explain away UFO sightings by some very reliable witnesses; explanations given, range from misidentifications to the worst, by claiming the witnesses as crazy or delusional. I wonder how many other things that have been reported on a fairly regular basis is the result of "delusional witnesses".
