What did you do in your garden today?
Hi, I think I must have had the spade surgically removed from my hands because today I haven't been in the garden at all; Bron and I have just returned from visiting our best friends who live 70 miles distant from us and it's been really nice to meet with them again for a good natter without any graft involved. For a change it's been a lot brighter today and WOW no rain although Gale is still here bending the trees giving a chill factor. All Christmas shopping for prezzies done and all Christmas cards posted yesterday; roll on Easter. :D Tonight A dry start to the night, with some clear spells in the east. It will be windy throughout, with outbreaks of heavier rain spreading in from the west later. Heavier rain; so what's new? I plan to do more digging tomorrow and it looks like a freezing start with a temperature range for the day of 0C-9C; am I going to complete the digging before winter sets in with a vengeance? Over the last few days whilst digging I think I've been wearing M&S anti-gravity socks; after an hours hard digging I come indoors and find the heels of my socks on the top of my feet; working on the sloping garden stresses everything; a couple of mornings ago I awoke with a lot of hip pain; Bron kindly gave me high strength cod liver oil capsules and taking one of these each day has worked a treat; I'm ready for more digging. :)(y) Kind regards, Colin.
