What are these bugs on my squash & zucchini?

I don't believe they are good for the plants. So, also, how do I get rid of them?

What you have are Brown Marmorated Stink Bugs. Not a good thing to have at all. These bugs when adults like yours are difficult to kill. You can try insecticidal soap but I haven't had much luck with soaps with these insects. I have found that Pyrethrin will effectively kill them. In the mean time the old thumb and forefinger method works every time.

I sprayed some pyrethrin. Hopefully, it helps

Good luck. I just found a couple of them on a zuchinni plant all the way acros my yard from my garden. Catch em early and watch for the eggs
