What and How To?

Hi, we bought this plant a few months ago and kept it indoors, when it was in flower it had a pink tinge where in the image the head has died back.
We placed it outside after the leaves started to die off and now it has four small shoots like the ones I hope can be seen in the second image.
What we are wondering is if you can and how to propagate/divide it?

It looks like a Bromeliad of some kind, if so the Mother plant is ding and the new pups will take her place, you can remove the pups and put them in a new pot or just let them take over the pot their in. To remove the pups let the Mother plant die and dig the small one out and put in a new pot.
