Watermelon and canteloupe question

Ok so I planted both at the same time, I bought the seedlings from a farm nearby. The watermelon has lots of flowers but none are female.. However, the canteloupe already have plenty of females and I hand pollinate it to ensure it will make it to maturity because I live in zone 6B . My question is that is it too late for watermelon? because from what I read, it takes about 45-60 days to mature from flower.

Male flowers appear first, then female. Give it a few days, then check again.
