I'm going to disagree here.
I think politicizing entertainment events is wrong. Same as when Hollywood celebs go off script to tout their pet projects, that is similarly wrong IMHO. Sports and entertainment is just that. There are hundreds if not thousands of worthy causes (depending on one's political and social affiliations) that are worthy of honor and recognition. The targeting of LEO is certainly one of those. But by a bunch of guys who are really good at kicking a ball around, or a Kardashian or some other expendable celebrity?
Really, most people don't care what those people think. They are not necessarily educated or intelligent so let them stick to what they really excel at. Which is kicking balls around, or pretending to be someone they are not.
And not to get political but since it was first raised...would you also be really upset if Dallas Cowboys also wanted to honor Black Lives Matter issues? If not, why? If so, why?
I do not expect a coherent response obviously
so that was a sort of rhetorical (look it up) question.
