Hello, I have started a simple project with two small jars for indoors. An will begin doing to bins outside.
Wishing for a good rain. To find different worms species for free. They are everywhere here.
I have one worm, it is in one of the two small jars. My outdoor bins will remain in a heavy shade area.
For inside my mini glass jars. I will leave in my dark closet. Continue to check daily, I got pictures of how it looks from beginning. My idea is to test out micro vermicomposting and micro composting side by side. An having fun watching the soil change form.
I will get updates on the outdoor worm bin and compost bin. I don't have any for the outdoor bins yet.

Both micro glass jars receive same basic greens and brown ratio more or less. Only difference one jar will have worms one will not. I recently added a lot of decayed wood. In tiny pieces and mixed moist coco coir. Threw in a banana peel, cardboard pieces, fully composted organic wood. Grass clippings. Started the project yesterday 7-18-24 Thursday. Date is for my own logs

Switch to outdoor vermicomposting method. Haven't tossed in worms yet. Have 3 bins
