My son would love all your juices! He is big into juicing but now that he is working on the ship, he doesn't get to do his own juicing.

Your juice is even better since you grown those vegetables yourself! So healthy and organic!

This sounds like a very healthy juice:) I wonder what it taste like. Some time ago, I made a green smoothie with kale, bananas and oranges. It didn't turn out good;)

I don't even taste the product. My view is to ingest the nutrients. Most vegetables have a similar taste and odor almost benign. The flavor and odor is often associated with added sugar and salt and in some cases other condiments. I basically add no condiments and few herbs. Most of our food likes and dislikes is an acquired habit or custom, often not particularly to our well being. Many have been added in quantity is relatively recent times, sugar, coffee, tea and probably others beyond my knowledge.

I don't go for vegetable juice. My first encounter was the cabbage juice. It was yucky, sorry about that. And then the carrot juice which tasted weird. But I like the carrot cake and I usually buy that whenever I would go to S&R, the only grocery store that sells imported items here. Perhaps I would just settle for fruit juice of any kind than vegetable juice.

Durgan - I wish I was less picky. But the truth is that taste is very important to me. I couldn't eat something I don't like.
Corzhens - I've never been a big fan of cabbage juice either;)

Why do we choose th3efood we eat.? Habit, tradition, availability, economics. All this is subject to change. Surprising what one can eat if hungry. Today we in many places have no restrictions on what we can eat. Unfortunately this has let to 75% or more of the population being overweight, which is considered to be a major health hazard. To me this indicates the necessity for a major change in what we ingest. Hence my effort, such as it is.

Everyone has his preferences. I eat healthy, but there are vegetables I really don't like and I don't think I can change it.
However, I stopped eating sweets a few years ago. At first, it was very hard, but now I don't miss them at all:) Sugar is like a drug, it's not easy to break the addiction to it, but it's possible. I guess same goes for fast food.

The thread title reminds me of what I saw last night in the mall. There was this restaurant with al fresco. Some groups of young people were occupying 2 tables. I noticed that they were all eating vegetable salad. That's the reason why I checked the name of the eatery. And then in their glasses were green liquid. They said it's vegetable juice. Yuck.
