Unknown weed, could this be kale

My neighbor says she dropped kale seeds in her back yard, and does not know what this weed is. Can anybody help. Thank you.

I agree that kale could be considered a weed. Just to be sure I think a picture might be best. This site has no auto size feature so use an app like litphoto to resize your phone photo, under 1 megapixel and computer screen sizes like 1280x768 will also work.
