Can anyone identify this houseplant? It's growing great and my cats don't eat it.

Peperomia obtusifolia, Baby Rubberplant. It has lots of relatives and some don’t look like it at all.

Thanks for the reply. One more question. What do I do (if anything) with what I believe are the "flowers" ?

You can cut them off anytime you want or wait a week or two and they turn brown and fall off.
