Unknown pest

Hi my first passionfruit attempt has started to fruit and is now under attack by an unknown pest. The vine is very healthy and I can only see beneficial insects like prey mantis and native bees. I have no idea what is causing this. any ideas.

Looks like where a bird has pecked at it.
