.....we bought a german shepard. We did not expect that he would obliverate ALL the grass in the backyard, which has a 3'9" drop from east to west. Needless to say, with no grass, we have a raging "river" every time it rains. So, Friday, I had 2 yards of stones delvered and laid it out to, hopefully, remedy the mud hole problem. Gonna install a diy/redneck french drain system to carry the "river" underground.......fingers are crossed.

When we first moved into this house. There were very few plants in the garden. All laid to lawn. Yes, you've guessed it - dogs! We have a very ugly raised bed. It took me years to open up the soil.

Looks very neat and lovely, David!
