Trellis Heights

Hello,

I have started growing indoor plants using a hydroponic machine.

I’ve been told I need to trellis the peas. Any advice on the height of the trellis?

I live in an apartment so tight on space.

Unless they are snow peas, probably from the floor to the ceiling if you have 8' ceilings. Snow peas are about half of that.

If they are Tom thumb like, then you won't need to trellis them.

My "dwarf snow peas" are 30 to 36 inch tall but my "sugar snap peas" are 55 to 60.

In a tight space indoor hydroponic system you may want to think about sticking to smaller green leafy things. In my hydroponic rack I stick to lettuce, bok choy, basil, and cilantro.
