Any idea what this tree/shrub may be?
If you live in zone 10-12 it is probably a Jacaranda or a Poinciana. If the blooms are blue its a Jacaranda. If red a Poinciana. If it has thorns it is a Jacaranda. Both beautiful trees when in bloom. If the leafs are alternating it could be either one. If not alternating or just side by side on the stem its a mimosa

I'm in Zone 10a. The blooms look to be purple. Do you still think it may be Jacaranda? I'm not familiar.

Unless they’re over concrete, then they’re MESSY!! Purple, slimy, sticky stuff all over for 3 months. But yes, very pretty trees. Oh and don’t EVER park underneath one if it’s blooming. But very pretty trees.
