Transplanting

Tomatoes , peppers , melons , peppers etc... have seeds to extract but how do I keep the cycle going with lettuce , spinach , cabbage etc.... I'm thinking similiar to potato process but not sure ...... Thanks in advance for any helpful advice

You could save seed from lettuce, spinach and cabbage if you've got the space, they can grow into awfully big plants when they go to seed, often need staking as they'll grow multiple stems.

Easier to buy a new packet each year.

Also if you save seed from Broccoli, Cabbage or Sprouts, after a few years they'll revert to the Wild Cabbage they're all descended from.

I don't grow as much from seed as I used to, mainly carrots, beets, radishes and green beans. When I did I generally only saved seeds from flowers, preferring to get new packets each season, The few leftover seeds that I had I gave to the birds who were quite happy with the idea.

I had a hard time with transplanting for years. There are a lot of videos on you tube, and so much information on the web. With each article, each video, I think I improved a lot and no longer fear it.
