Hi there

Like last year my Tomatoes are turning black so will be thrown away.

Any suggestions on why this is happening?

Thanks too late for this year:(. Use the hose to water every evening. So annoying waste of money and time. Others had suggested blite?

Yes, even in hot temps, watering everyday is too much, assuming the plants are in the ground. If your plants are in a container, disregard my posts, because I don't do container gardening, therefore I have zero experience in that area.

Huw can explain it better than I can, so I'll let him talk about the importance of deep roots. Watering every day makes a plant lazy.

If you dont think its a water issue you could try and give each plant 2 cups of plain old 2% milk. Its a readily available form of calcium.

No thanks. The toms i have picked are all turning black so they will all be thrown away. Think will not bother next year. Some this year are a bit shady too.
