This is fascinating. I saw a show years ago on National Geographic ( I think...) about a guy that incorporated thousands of animal bones to build his house. (He made walls out of stacks of them, he lined up skulls in the stair risers, he put them everywhere! I must not be putting in the right search terms, I can't find it now. :()

zigs, in Esther's link I read, "Postcards in the early 1900s with photographs of the crypt show the layout much the same as it is today."

Umm... er... (...Insert much hemming and hawing....) By any chance, do they still sell those postcards today?? No particular reason, of course... :angelic:
