You need less ppm N for your plants more frequently other than feeding once per week or two Yellowing leaves then dark green tops are the sign of an N deficit and then excess. Constant feed the seedlings with something. Monitoring the media pH and EC is a valuable tool. Hydroponics and seed starting in a soiless substrate is closely related. I await.

I run a steady low EC with every watering during the seedling and veg stage. I use N in both stages but drop it in flowering. I mostly use soil-less and organic substrates.
