Can timely planting help in the control of pests and diseases? I think that by planting our vegetables before the heavy rains season, we can avoid diseases that result from the heavy rains. What do you think?
Maybe where you live, can you garden year around in Kenya? I'm guessing it's tropical, with a rainy season.
Where I live I don't have much of a choice, we have a roughly 5-month window of time to have a garden (frost to frost) and for sure these recent extra-wet summers have been a challenge. Blight for the first time ever, and I have never seen so many slugs.
