We have noticed that the migratory birds we usually have, haven't appeared yet. However, we are getting different species that we haven't had in the past, or that appeared much later (late March or early April).
We had our first bluebird last weekend, and we have had more house finches than ever before. The cardinals are taking over!

I have not really noticed any birds in my area yet, but I am going to be sure to look for them now. Those pictures are really nice and I especially like the cardinal one.

I have to say, Cardinals are bountiful here this year also. The blue bird is our state bird, and in all the sixty one years living here, have never seen a one.

Yes, we have a lovely cardinal family here. Along with the blue jays, chickadees and the odd robin. We are feeding them since mother nature has put a stranglehold on spring.

It's the first time when I see such colorful little birds. They're super cute!:D I especially like the one in the last picture.
Most birds in my area are either small and grey or big and black;)

None have shown up so far. It's been really cold and we're suffering from wonky weather here.

The red breasted robins are all over my yard. I am hoping they know something I don't know because it is still cold out. The weather man stays it will be cold all week.

The weather here is crazy too, a few weeks ago it was in the 70s now it's down to the 20s and snow!

Ha! They aren't the only ones! I am over the cold. However, I live in the south so I have birds around all the time. Just the other day a bluejay was making a racket in my Japanese magnolia. I've been doing a lot in the garden so I am hoping he wasn't broadcasting to all the other birds in the neighborhood that my yard was the place to be.
