Hi everyone, (and sorry for my English),
Is here the right place for this thread? Tell me if it sn't, please.
This is my small terrace, a terrace with 5x4 meters that faces east very close to Valencia, Spain, close to the Mediterranean sea. In Spain, most of us live in apartments, we are not fortunate enough to have the gardens which in Anglo-Saxon countries you normally have in every house. In fact, having a 20 m terrace like mine is unusual. Here in Spain there is also no the passion for gardening that the British and another nationalities have, I think it because it is not easy to maintain a garden with the high temperatures, little rain and lack of water that we suffer here.
We have lived in this house since 2019 and little by little we have been adding plants. Some came from the previous house, others come from cuttings, some have grown spontaneously and others are from a nursery. I water it with a watering can except for the month of August when I spend it outside and turn on the irrigation.
For my taste it is too colorful, but my wife (who is the one who chooses the color of the flowers and many of the plants) loves it that way. And "happy wife, happy life." We have zonale pelagorniums, regal pelagorniums, bouganvilleas, honeysuckles, jasmines, bignonia, a philodendrun and some other plants.
I put some photos from the past year month by month. I will post new photos from this year to! Thanks for reading me!!
