Hi All

New to gardening but have loved watching our sweet pea's grow up :)
Planted them early winter and they've shot up and look fab but I have big concerns that they might be dying as the root has gone brown over the last couple of weeks. I think it might have been over-watered or perhaps the soil is bad?

Could someone let me know

Thank you

Pontyprid, or Turkmenistan?
Not sure of the season in Turkmenistan, I am guessing Pontyprid will not be so different from here in Sussex. Some of my sweetpeas are still going, but others are going over already, though I have been picking the peas and keeping them flowering for some time. The received wisdom is that doing that will keep the plant going until September, but plants are like people, they don't all live the same amount of time, I have a feeling yours are preparing to shut down rather than anything else. Remember to leave a few pods so you get peas to plant next year.
