Sweet long pepper with white / yellow mark

Hi there,

This is my first year growing sweet long peppers. I have two plants that have created lots of peppers that are doing well. One of the peppers has started to turn red before all the others, but it has a white/yellow texture on part of it. Does anyone know what this is? Any help or advice would be great!

Looks like sun scald which stressed the pepper fruit so it matured earlier. You can just cut away the bad area and eat the rest.

Ah that makes sense as it is the side facing the sun that has turned red! Thank you!
