Summer Squash big but still green!

Any help appreciated! I'm growing some squash, 'yellow bush scallop summer squash', it's supposed to be golden yellow when ripe but mine are getting rather large and are still a pale green to yellow. Everywhere says to harvest when small but they're supposed to be yellow.

Here are 2 reasons why your squash has a greenish tint. Immaturity and mosaic virus and yours doesn't have mosaic virus.
