Here is my slightly unhappy Strelitzia...
Any advice on whether I should move it to another location?

It's on a south facing bathroom windowsill, and has been there since I moved house in November.
Previously it was on a west facing bathroom windowsill and it was very happy, only the bottom leaves ever went yellow as they died off.

More higher up leaves are now curling and going yellow. I'm wondering if it now gets too much sunlight ( although I'd have thought the mottled/privacy glass would actually like shading?), or if it could just be due to being a bit colder through the winter in my new house? Previous house the bathroom had a heated towel rail that was left on constantly through the winter and the room was smaller so it did keep the heat.

I do have a west facing window on my landing that I could move it to, but I thought it would prefer the increased humidity in a bathroom...

Advice greatly welcomed please!

For reference I am a horticulturalist by profession in the UK, but I am an outdoor plant person/gardener...so I just tend to wing it with my indoor/tropical plants 🫣🥴🤣

*Oh, and yes I do intend to repot the Pepperomia ferreyae in the right of the picture!! 😳🫣

Hello friend, since you are a horticulturalist by profession, I would suggest you to do a pour-thru and catch a small sample from the discharge tray. Check the EC and see if the roots are burning from excess salt accumulation. While you have the sample test the pH and see if using tap water has buffered the pH locking up nutrients. If you know the EC and the pH you can save a lot of time.

Ah, a picture!
My guess is it is staying a bit dry rather than wet. It’s a bit under-potted, which is much better than over-potted. Just keep it nicely moist without staying saturated.
There are two plants and the smaller one is showing the stress of the competition. You may need to separate them to keep the smaller one healthy.
