I read a fiction book once where the main character was eating a new fruit that tasted like the impossible combination of asparagus and strawberry. It just made me wonder what others would think would be very odd (or good) taste combinations, even if it were not possible to actually interbreed the two plants. I will give it a shot. Imagine a banana mixed jalapeno. What can you come up with? Maybe one day your creation will be genetically possible!

This is a very creative idea:D
I'd love to eat a fruit that tastes like green peas, asparagus and raspberries:D I think it would be a delicious combination! A mix of tomatoes and cherries sounds interesting too.

How about tiny oranges that grow like a bunch of grapes? Like baby corns (which you can eat the cob), the peels would be so thin, you could eat the whole thing. The oranges would not be bitter citrus, but more of a cross of sweet sultanas with a hint of tartness.

That's a wonderful idea, Primalclaws1974! I'd love to eat miniature oranges:D
Another fruits that should exist are sweet lemons, pomegranates without seeds and a combination of apples and raspberries.

I absolutely agree. I want to eat pomegranate, but I can't get past the seeds. The color throws me a little too, but I could live with that. I want to eat healthy foods, such as avocado, but the mushiness is too much. If I could cross a honeydew with an avocado and get the firmness of the melon and the taste of the avocado, I would eat it every day.

Imagine a green or yellow pomegranate without any seeds. Wouldn't it be great?:D
The combination of a honeydew and an avocado sounds really good. Right now, I would like to eat raspberry flavored lemons:)
