I live in Wisconsin and always want to get my seeds started early indoors because it's so cold here. However, I have had awful luck the last 3 years, taking so much time with my seedlings over for them to die after I get them into the ground. I actually seem to have better luck putting them right into the ground. Why is this? Am I doing something wrong? I do make sure I am careful with the roots when transplanting.
