Stanley Tucci's "Searching for Italy"

Has anyone watched it? We get it on Sunday evening, and watched about half of the first episode. I was hoping for recipes, descriptions of food and ingredients, and discussions with local cooks/chefs. Instead he went off on how Naples was revitalizing neighborhoods and got all politically correct. Very disappointing for me.
How do you feel about that TV show?
