Spreading weed/plant?

Hi, could anyone help me identify this please? I don't recall planting it, but it's definitely spreading

Your welcome, I haven't seen a thistle like that but it might not be wrong. Could you do a close up of the buds please.

Zooming in those buds and the serrated edges of the leaves do look like some sort of sow thistle, I wondered some sort of cornflower, but the leaves look wrong. It won't be long before those buds open and you will know for sure, but if you don't recall planting it and it is growing fast my money is on some sort of weed.
