Hi Everyone,
Looking for some advice on the ideal soil blend for use with Kokedama. These will be for interior use with plants such as Chamaedorea, Philodendron, Spathiphyllum, Anthurium etc. Have seen some recommendations such as 70% Peat and 30% Akadama but not entirely sold on this combination.
Naturally the soil mixture needs the ability to be formed into a ball during creation and maintain its shape while being worked on. Have the ideal balance of aeration and water / nutrient retention and overall be relatively light weight.
So if anyone can advise of their recommendations for this type of mixture, I would be very pleased to hear from you.
Many thanks.
Simon
