Snake plant or nah?

Hey guys

Is this a Snake plant?
I have been looking for one for ages and the people in the shop were not helpful.
I think it's very healthy and potentially quite young.
It does have a ew damaged leaves. What could I do about the ripped leaves?
Also any survival tips to keep it this healthy would be amazing.

I know there are various types of plants referred to as Snake plants, but this is what I typically think of when I hear Snake plant

That looks more like a Lily. It is definitely not a Snake Plant...see Roadrunner's post above.
