Small white insects on compost tumbler

Hello, as the title says, there has been quite a few small white bugs gathered on my compost tumbler. They are the white powder looking things on the corner of it. I am relatively new to using tumblers, but I don't remember seeing this before with anything else. No idea what they are either, and admittedly they do creep me out. I'd appreciate any help on what they are and if I need to do anything, thanks!
