Are there any specific signs to watch for with regards to an orchid needing to be repotted?
My very first orchid is in a tiny pot which is approximately 2 inches wide at the top. I have had it for about a year, but it seems to have been struggling for months now. The leaves seem slightly limp, with one of them showing the cell structure.
The leaves are dark green, so it may be in need of more sun. I can definitely try to move it and see if that improves anything.
It has a new leaf that has emerged about a half an inch, and has stayed at this point for at least three months as well.
Should I try changing the media and moving to a slightly larger pot, or is there a better possible course of action?
