Hi all

We have the shrub as shown in the picture, unfortunately we can't recall it's name!

It was lush green in colour and has faded into a yellowish colour, we noticed that it began to attract a large number of ladybirds before it lost its colour.

Does anyone have any idea's on how to treat it to restore it to its 'greener self'

Thank you so much!

Welcome to the forum. :)

Your shrub is a member of the conifer family but because of it's current problem I can't identify it. The visit by the ladybirds suggest it has been attacked by a pest which the ladybirds were probably feeding on. I'm sorry, but once conifers turn brown it's very unlikely that they recover, even with pruning, as they don't produce new growth.
