Should i remove the attaching plant on my tree?

Hi i am a newbie in gardening. Can i know what is that parasites lookalike plant appears on the trunk of my tree? Should ibremove it or it is harmless to the tree?

Yes, it's bad for the tree, just snip the vine's main stem at the ground and let the vine die before pulling it or removing it. If you try to pull it down while it's alive it will damage the tree but when its dead it will come down easily. Very easy job.
