I have been checking on the nest, to which I thought it was a Robin's nest (https://www.gardening-forums.com/threads/robins-nest.5239/#post-55907), when I heard an unfamiliar sound of the mother nearby. To my surprise, I saw that she is not a robin at all, but has a gray color. She was quite mad at me to be so close to her nest.

Do you know that Robin isn't the only bird that lay blue eggs? After searching online, I found out this gray feather bird is called a Catbird, and she is the owner of these four blue eggs.

Birds do not like anyone being near the little ones. Hope she knows you are not a 'parasite' (lol)

Aha!
I was thinking in your other thread that didn't look like a robin, because robins usually have white around their eyes and the one you pictured there didn't.
And now I have learned something new. :)

Awww! She is so beautiful! I'm glad to hear you find the owner of the eggs and that she is taking care of them. To be honest I didn't know much about those two birds until you created that firsdt thread about the nest :)

Haha, I am not a parasite! I even went out in the rain to put some branches above the nest to keep them dry and to keep her dry. She ought to thank me :)

I can't wait now to see the Catbird babies! Wonder what they would look like. This is another first experience for me. It is just so precious and exciting opportunity.
