A few years ago I bought a Nemesia plant from the garden center. It flowered all summer long and the scent filled the whole patio. The past 2 - 3 years I've tried to grow them from bedding plants and from seed and I can't smell a thing.

Candytuft has no smell for me (it's supposed to). Nor does night scented stock. Yet the smell of my sweet peas hits my nose the moment I open the door.
I have some unknown perenial in my garden that started flowering in March and is still going strong. Again, I'd smell this the moment I entered the garden yet neither of my neighbours can smell it.

I don't know if I ever had covid. I never had symptoms. But I wonder if this explains why I used to smell nemesia but now don't.

Has anyone else noticed this?

That is the way I am with those scented plug in air freshner things. I can instantly smell those while others are like I cant hardly smell it. It blows my nose off and I can't breathe while they say it needs more power. Huh. I mean I like to smell something nice every once in awhile but c'mon.
