Jimmy Buffett passed at age 76 from skin cancer I understand.
As a Karaoke guy way back in the day, I am sure I sang his song Wasted away again in Margaritaville most likely more than a dozen time over the years.

In honor of a song writer I believe most of us know by his music here are the lyrics.
Sometime people have an outsized influence on others. Jimmy is such a person.

… Nibblin' on sponge cake
Watchin' the sun bake
All of those tourists covered in oil
Strummin' my six-string
On my front porch swing
Smell those shrimp hey they're beginnin' to boil
… Wasted away again in Margaritaville
Searching for my lost shaker of salt
Some people claim that there's a woman to blame
But I know it's nobody's fault
… I don't know the reason
I stayed here all season
Nothin' to show but this brand new tattoo
But it's a real beauty
A Mexican cutie
How it got here I haven't a clue
… Wasted away again in Margaritaville
Searchin' for my lost shaker of salt
Some people claim that there's a woman to blame
Now I think
Must be Buffet's fault
… I blew out my flip-flop
Stepped on a pop-top
Broke my leg twice I had to limp on back home
But there's booze in the blender
And soon it will render
That frozen concoction that helps me hang on
Hang on
… Wasted away again in Margaritaville
Searching for my lost shaker of salt
Some people claim that there's a woman to blame
But I know this is all Alan's fault
Yes and some people claim that there's a woman to blame
And I know it's our own damn fault

That's too bad. One of my favorite summertime songs is him and Alan Jackson singing 5 o'clock somewhere.

I could pay off my tab
Pour myself in a cab and be back to work before two
At a moment like this, I can't help but wonder
What would Jimmy Buffett do?
Funny you should ask Alan
I'd say, Pour me somethin' tall and strong
Make it a Hurricane before I go insane
It's only half past twelve but I don't care
Pour me somethin' tall and strong
Make it a Hurricane before I go insane
It's only half past twelve but I don't care
He don't care
And I don't care
It's five o'clock somewhere
What time zone am I on? What country am I in?
It doesn't matter, it's five o'clock somewhere
It's always on five in Margaritaville, come to think of it
I heard that
You been there haven't you
Yes sir
I've seen your boat there
I've been to Margaritaville a few times
All right, well that's good
Stumbled my the way back
Okay, we just wanna make sure you can keep it between the navigational beacons
Between the buoys, I tell you
All right, well, it's five o'clock, let's go somewhere
I'm ready, crank it up
Let's get out of here
I'm gone
