Hi, I'm looking for recommendations for ground cover for some small flower beds near the patio. Should be evergreen, fairly hardy, flowering often.
Thanks

For small flower beds near your patio, the following ground covers that are evergreen, hardy, and flower often:

  1. Creeping Thyme (Thymus serpyllum) - Evergreen, hardy, and produces small, fragrant flowers in pink or purple. It’s also great for stepping on occasionally.
  2. Mazus (Mazus reptans) - Evergreen in milder climates, hardy, and blooms with blue or white flowers from spring to early summer.
  3. Lilyturf (Liriope spicata) - Evergreen, hardy, and has purple flower spikes in late summer. It’s also very low maintenance.
  4. Creeping Phlox (Phlox subulata) - Evergreen, hardy, and has a stunning carpet of flowers in pink, purple, white, or blue during spring.
  5. Ajuga (Ajuga reptans) - Semi-evergreen, hardy, and produces blue, purple, or white flower spikes in late spring.

Goodluck!
