Hello!
I planted a raspberry plant in early April of this year and it took off! Unfortunately, I recently noticed that many of the leaves are starting to become webby. In case the cause is not blaringly-obvious, here is some additional information:
Hardiness Zone: 7b
Soil pH: ~7.0 (I know raspberries prefer something more acidic - I recently added some acidifier, but not enough to significantly change pH probably)
Planted: first week of April
Sun: broken sunlight/partial shade
Other Notes: I've looked for insects and have found a single small grasshopper and a spider; no worms/caterpillars or anything of the like
Could this be sawfly?
I appreciate any thoughts that anyone would like to share. Thank you!
