Hello, I'm new to the forum. I have a pumpkin seedling that I transferred to my garden after 3 weeks in a pot outside. The leaves are now turning yellow and look a little wilted. This will be my second try at planting pumpkins and failing! I did plant squash as I do every year and they always grow beautifully! I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong and why my pumpkin plants always fail. :( They are in the sun and the dirt is moist. Any suggestions? TIA

Hiya @Jenn13 and welcome to the forum :) Although I am very far from knowledgeable about growing pumpkins,I assume that the soil there is not the kind that they appreciate, and maybe they need the right kind of 'feed'

Hi :) I bought 4 20lb Miracle grow soil bags at Lowe's. It says it's for vegetables. I made a plot and put all the soil there then planted the pumpkin. Not sure why they are wilting..

Pumpkins prefer to grow in acid soil. Have you done a soil test?
