I have a huge 'regular' Buddleia in my front garden. It seeded from a smaller one given to me in a pot. My garden is 2m x 5m in area (very small) and the Bud is 4.5m tall. The flowers are at my bedroom window level.
It is a beautiful plant and is of course very good for the bees. but it's low branches are hanging over and intruding my neighbours own equally small garden.
CAN I CUT OFF THOSE INTRUDING BRANCHES IN SUMMER WITHOUT DAMAGING THE TREE?
